Installation paths on icibos
Download and setup
We provide three installation methods to suit your device and network preference. Android users download the APK directly from our platform; iOS users access icibos via Safari or Chrome without a separate app install. The PWA option works on both Android and iOS, requiring only a bookmark or home-screen shortcut. Each method carries identical security features and performance characteristics.
Begin by visiting the icibos app page, selecting your device type, and following the platform-specific steps below. Installation takes subject to verification on standard 4G networks. If you encounter issues, our support team can assist via the Help section inside your account dashboard.
Installation requires device ID verification
After your first login, icibos logs your device fingerprint for security. If you install on a new phone, you may be asked to confirm your identity via email or SMS to prevent unauthorized access to your account.
Step-by-step setup for icibos
- Download: On Android, tap the APK link and allow installation from unknown sources in your device settings. On iOS or PWA, bookmark the icibos web app or add it to your home screen.
- Install: Android APK completes in seconds; iOS and PWA require no further action—they open directly in your browser.
- Register or log in: Enter your email, set a secure password, and verify your account via a confirmation link sent to your inbox.
- Verify identity: Upload your national ID, a selfie holding the ID, and proof of address (utility bill or bank statement). Review typically completes within one business day.
App versus browser on icibos
Our native Android APK offers offline asset caching, allowing you to browse game menus and past transactions even without internet; once your connection returns, pending actions sync automatically. The APK also supports push notifications for live-dealer table availability and new Liga 1 market announcements. Load times are typically 20–non-specific info faster than the web version on the same device. iOS users and PWA users on any platform access the same feature set through Safari or Chrome; the experience is near-identical to the Android app but relies on your browser's cache management. PWA performance on weak networks (sub-1 Mbps) degrades more than native APK, as the browser refreshes assets more frequently. If you expect variable connectivity—such as during travel to Medan or Semarang—the Android APK is the more reliable choice. All three pathways support live blackjack, roulette, baccarat, Dragon Tiger, and Sic Bo with the same multi-camera dealer feeds and table limits.
Device compatibility for icibos
Android 7.0 and above is required for the native APK. iOS 12.0 and above is required for the browser-based PWA. Older devices may still access icibos through a mobile browser window, though performance is not guaranteed. We recommend at least 100 MB free storage on Android to cache game assets. WiFi is not mandatory—the app functions on 4G LTE and 5G, though video streams consume approximately 50–80 MB per hour of play depending on resolution. If your device runs Android 6 or iOS 11, contact our support team for a legacy web link. PWA installation on Android requires you to open the site in Chrome or Edge, tap the menu, and select "Install app"—this adds a home-screen shortcut that functions like a native app.
Common installation issues
If your Android device blocks APK installation, go to Settings → Security → Unknown Sources (or "Install Unknown Apps") and grant permission to your browser or file manager. Some devices require you to trust the download certificate in Settings → Apps → Permissions. On iOS, if the PWA fails to install, clear your Safari cache (Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data), then revisit the icibos site and try again. If push notifications do not arrive, check that your device does not have notifications muted in Settings and that icibos has been granted notification permission. VPNs may slow app load times; we recommend disabling your VPN during installation and account setup if you are in a supported region. If installation hangs or crashes, restart your device and download the APK fresh—do not attempt to resume an interrupted download.
Data, permissions, and account security on icibos
The icibos app requests camera and photo-library access only when you upload KYC documents; it does not access your microphone, location, or contact list. We encrypt all data in transit using TLS 1.2 and store passwords using industry-standard hashing—we cannot see your password even if we wanted to. Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a verification code sent to your phone; enable it under Account Settings to block login attempts from unauthorized devices. Your withdrawal address, linked payment methods (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, or online payment), and transaction history are encrypted and accessible only to you. If you suspect unauthorized access, immediately change your password, enable 2FA, and contact our support team. We will not ask you for your password or 2FA code via email or message—any request claiming to do so is fraudulent. Device logout removes your session after subject to verification of inactivity on your app, and our session management is identical across Android, iOS, and PWA.
