icibosPrivacy Policy
This page describes what we collect when you use icibos and how we keep that data protected. We operate a gaming and sportsbook platform available to users in supported jurisdictions only. Your privacy is important to us—we collect only the information we need to verify your identity, process your transactions, and operate our service securely.
When you create an account on icibos, we collect your name, date of birth, national ID number, email address, and phone number. We also collect proof of address (utility bill, rental agreement, or official document) during account verification. If you deposit via DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank transfer (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet), we record your transaction details—payment method, amount, date, and settlement status. Our servers process this data to verify you are in a supported jurisdiction and to prevent fraud and money laundering.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We share information only with our payment processors, compliance partners, and legal authorities when required by law. Your rights include the ability to access, correct, or delete your personal data, subject to legal obligations. This policy applies to all users of icibos, whether in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, or Semarang.
What We Collect and How We Use It
We collect account information—your full name, date of birth, national ID number, email address, and phone number—when you register on icibos. This information is mandatory for account creation. We use it to verify your identity, confirm you are in a supported jurisdiction, and to contact you about your account (e.g., password resets, security alerts, or service announcements).
We collect proof of address during account verification. We accept utility bills, rental agreements, government-issued documents, or bank statements issued within the last three months. We use this document to confirm your residential location and to comply with anti-money-laundering regulations. Once verified, we retain this proof in encrypted form on our servers for record-keeping and dispute resolution.
When you deposit or withdraw funds on icibos, we record your transaction details—payment method used, amount, currency, date and time, transaction reference number, and settlement status. We retain this information for at least five years for compliance purposes. We use transaction data to detect unusual activity, prevent fraud, and respond to disputes.
We collect activity logs—your login times, game and market selections, bet amounts, and outcomes. This data is used to maintain account security, investigate disputes, and improve our platform. We do not use activity logs for marketing or profiling.
Our icibos servers are encrypted end-to-end
We encrypt all data in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Your password is hashed and salted; we do not store plaintext passwords. Two-factor authentication adds an extra security layer to your login.
Third-Party Processors and Data Sharing
We work with third-party payment processors to handle deposits and withdrawals on icibos. When you choose DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet, your payment details are shared directly with those providers' servers. We do not store your wallet credentials or bank account numbers—we receive only transaction confirmation and settlement status from the payment processor.
We work with compliance and identity-verification partners to validate your documents during account verification. These partners receive your name, ID number, proof of address, and date of birth. They perform a background check and return a verification result (approved or rejected) to us. We do not permit these partners to use your data for any other purpose.
Our servers may be located outside your jurisdiction (e.g., in Singapore, Malaysia, or other regions). Data stored on these servers is subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where the server is located, as well as Indonesian data protection principles where applicable. We ensure our data centres maintain equivalent or higher security standards than Indonesian regulatory requirements.
We disclose your data to law enforcement or regulatory authorities only when legally required—for example, if we receive a court order, a request from the Indonesian Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (PPATK), or another competent authority. We will notify you of such disclosure unless prohibited by law.
Cookies and Tracking
We use session cookies to maintain your login state on icibos. A session cookie expires when you log out or close your browser; it does not persist across sessions. We use this cookie to prevent you from having to re-enter your password on every page.
We do not use third-party tracking cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel) on icibos. We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels. Our analytics are internal only—we track page performance and error logs to improve our platform, but we do not send this data to external vendors.
Your Data Rights
You have the right to access your personal data. You can request a copy of all data we hold on your account by contacting our support team via in-app messaging or email. We will provide it within 30 days.
You have the right to correct inaccurate data. If your name, address, or contact details are incorrect, you can update them from your account settings on icibos. Some fields (e.g., date of birth, national ID number) require support assistance to change; contact our team to update these.
You have the right to delete your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements. If you request deletion, we will close your account and remove your personal data after a 90-day hold period (to allow disputes to be resolved). Transaction records must be retained for five years for compliance purposes.
Our Commitments and Contact Information
We commit to keeping your data secure. Our platform uses encryption, firewalls, and regular security audits to prevent unauthorized access. We train our staff on data protection and require them to sign confidentiality agreements. We do not share your data with our marketing team or use it to build advertising profiles.
We update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will notify you by email if we make material changes. Your continued use of icibos after a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, how we handle your data, or your rights, contact us via in-app chat, email, or support form. Our team responds in Indonesian and English during standard business hours. If you believe we have violated your privacy rights, you can file a complaint with the competent data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
This privacy policy is effective as of the date shown on icibos when you access it. We operate only in jurisdictions where local law permits online gaming and data processing. Your use of icibos confirms you have read and agree to this privacy policy.
